  1. This is a real good stretch here. Not only do you get DESTROY ALL MONSTERS again, but the ultra weird and rare MAGIC SERPENT too (which ripped off majorly a lot of established Toho manster growls, esp. Rodan and Godzilla). Then you get the WTF IS THAT movie MANEATER OF HYDRA, which i swear i have never heard of. Looks like a ripoff of DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS. And if you like that sort of thing, then check out also NAVY VS THE NIGHT MONSTERS.

  2. Oh yeah and here is a good example of the "Yeah!" reaction i would have at an Abboott and Costello flick scheduled, followed by an "Awww ..." reaction to frickin Hopolong Cassidy.

  3. Nothing was worse than seeing all 3 channels broadcasting sports. Nothing.

  4. In my house, Channel 5 was king and this is proof because all I remember are these Abbot & Costello movies. Pretty sure monster movies or any science fiction was verboten if my mother was home.
