Wow!!!! I saw THE NEPTUNE FACTOR more than once as a kid at the theatre and on TV. It always fascinated me to no end. I recently got the excellent DVD of it, and while I'd hesitate to recommend it as anything other than a curiosity, for nostalgia's sake it was a home run for me!!!
